Jason has informed me on MULTIPLE occasions that I am project ambitious. And it might be true, but I will never tell him that! About once a week I exclaim, "Oh my goodness, this is the best idea I've ever seen." or "Look what I found today while looking on Pinterest/the Internet/Facebook. I'm going to try this." I always try and I always fail! This year though I have decided things will be different. I will not try as many projects, I will choose the projects I do try more wisely, and I will not fail at the projects I do try. So far (notice I say so far...) this year I only have four projects that I would like to keep up with:
- Start a blog – First of all, let it be known that I HATE writing. And by hate, I mean...absolutely despise, cannot stand, would rather be doing anything else besides writing. So why am I starting a blog…besides the fact that I am project ambitious? Because, I want my babies to have something to look back on one day. I want them to be able to see what our lives were like. The good, the bad, the happy, the sad, the silly, the proud. ALL of it.
- Keep up with Project Life – I started Project Life in 2011, but I kind of fell of the bandwagon. I didn’t do awful and I am so thankful for what little bit I do have in our book. However, this year I would like to keep up with the project for the whole year! So far this year, I am doing OK. Week 1 is complete and I will post about it this weekend.
- Take better pictures of my family – Anybody that spends any amount of time around the Woods household can tell you that my children DO NOT lack photo documentation of their lives. I take LOTS of pictures ALL the time! But, this year I would like to focus on taking better pictures. My goal is to force myself to think outside the box.
- Make prints of both of my babies’ hands and feet throughout the year!
With that said…Good luck to me and let’s go 2012!
